The
archipelago of San Andres and Providence is located northeast of
Colombia, over the West Indies Sea. Due to it's ecosystem, biodiversity
and culture is considered a jewel for tourists around the world
and a biosphere reservation by Unesco. Climate is stable on 27
Celsius degrees and fresh wind blows all year. Providence is
located 72 Kilometers north of San Andres, due to its
geographic isolation and the conservation of its primitive aspect
is an ideal place to have a rest. Both, San Andres and Providene have
great beaches proper for swiming, scuba diving, skiing and other

Places to visit
- Spratt Bight Beach.
Is the principal beach of the island with 450 meters of extension and
white sands. Is the favorite place for enjoy of the sun and multicolor
transparency of water.
- Morgan's Cave.
A mysteriuos cave that time have carved into the coral reef that evokes
ancient legends about treasures, pirates, and deep labyrinths that
flows into beautiful beaches.
- "El Cove".
Bay where the sunset come down, and where ships cruising the Careebean
and flagships of Colombian army, anchors. It's propitious for
scuba diving and eating.
- Hole Blower.
Resemble a geyser but next to the sea. It's a natural
phenommenon produced by subterranean tunnels that end all together
in one single hole. When the tide is up and wave`s push water into
the tunnels it throws the compress air through the hole.
- San Luis. Far
from hotels and commerce, it's a native sector of the island famous for
the wood houses and the caribbean architecture.
- Big Pond Lagoon.
Located in the hills of the island is refuge for thousands of
birds, "babillas", boas, crabs, and fishes. Palm trees, "mangos",
and other fruit trees surround the lagoon.
- Johnny Cay.
A small islet in front of the Spratt Bight Beach is symbol and
temple of the island. Johnny Cay offers fun, palm trees, cocktails,
food, and an eager sea.
- Sports.
Scuba diving found magnificent scenarios. The are several certified
schools both PADI and NAUI. Sports like Sunfish, Katesurf, and Windsurf
are also practiced and teached specially in December, January, and
Febraury. Cycling and running found great coastal paths to cover the
island.
