San Gil is an adventurous town that is found 5 hours away by car from Bogotá, and it has nice and warm people, charming hotels in a colonial town, where you can find all kind of activities.

What’s included?

• White Water Rafting: Class III rapids in the Fonce   River (Arenera section) (Around 2 hours), perfect for the whole family.
• Ecological trek to the Juan   Curi   Falls : We will hike for about 40 minutes among different water falls that range from 5 to 10 meters until we get to the main fall which has 60 meters.
• Horse riding: An exciting two hours trip among the different local plantation and trails that are usually used by peasants.
• The Indio Cave: An spectacular path through a cave with an inner creek.
• Entrance to the Gallineral   Park : These is a full of nature park with trails that exposes the different plants and trees of the region.
• Meals: All meals between lunch in the first day and breakfast in the last one.
• Accommodations: 3 hotel nights (“Hostal” accommodation).
• Transportation: From Bogotá – to San Gil. (round trip)

For this trip we don’t suggest an itinerary, as we want to offer a flexible schedule and we leave to the customer to decide what activities to do in what days. Enjoy!

Packing list

• Below is our recommended list when packing for our San Gil Adventure Tour. Temperatures are warm year-round.

Personal gear

• 2 Swimsuit or 2 pair of shorts
• Shoes that can get wet. Be sure you bring socks
• 1 pair of lightweight pants
• T-shirts
• Tennis shoes
• Broad-brimmed sun hat with strap

Toilet kit

• Personal medicines
• Waterproof sunscreen (a must)
• Skin cream or aloe gel
• Lip balm
• Beach towel
• Insect repellent

Miscellaneous gear

• Sunglasses with safety strap such as chums (Spare)
• Small flashlight (headlamp works better)
