SCUBA DIVING TOURS AT CARTAGENA

We work only wih the most recognized diving schools in Cartagena. We count with an operation center in one of the most beautiful places in our country:

The National Natural park Corales del Rosario y San Bernardo. Where we count with more than 20 diving spots:

Walls, coral bottom, wrecks, etc.,where we find a great variety of species such as: soft corals, spongy, marine worms, mollusks, crustaceans, and others. We can also find a great variety of typical fish of the reefs such as the parrot, angel, butterfly, snapper, grouper, damsels, surgeon, crossbow, among others.

The diving facility is at ISLA GRANDE. Where we have facilities such as: fresh water, pool, living room, dining room, bathrooms, private beach, gardens, game areas and hammocks.

ITINERARY

At 7:30 o'clock a.m. We leave Cartagena to the Rosario's National Natural Park Corales del Rosario y San Bernardo. We perform the activities (SCUBA DIVING, COURSES AND MINI COURSES) and we return to Cartagena around 4:00 o’clock p.m.

SCUBA DIVING AT CARTAGENA

The underwater scenery in Cartagena and the Rosario Islands Natural National Park is every bit as breathtaking as it is above the waves, and just as accessable.

The islands are coral formations which have grown in size over hundreds of years, so just about anywhere you will find good Snorkling and Scuba Diving.

The Islands, coral reefs, masrine seagrass, mangroves and coastasl lagoons were declared Natural National Park by the National Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (INDERENA) in 1977, for the sole purpose of conservation, study and enjoyment. The Park is known for its great diversity since there have been registered more than 1300 animal and plant species, constituting a valuable natural heritage for the Colombian people.

The Islands are coral banks, gradually built up over hundreds of years. The clear waters and fine white coral sand beaches are naturally filtered by the ecosystem. The beauty of the Rosario Islands offers a strong invitation to swim, snorkel and scuba dive.

WATER TEMPERATURE

The climate is tropical, humid, and averages 27 degrees Celsius. The mangroves, coral reefs, and sea flora constitute one of the most diverse and productive ecosystems on the planet.

The coral reefs have the environment with the greatest variety of species in the marine world. Colorful fish with beautiful shapes live over the delicate bottom of the coral reefs. For example we may find Queen Angels, Butterfly fish and many more.

We may also find in the reefs other species of great size live on the bottom of the reef such as the Nassau grouper, the Jewfish and the Yellowfin grouper. Finally, we may also find fast swimmers that glide through the coral such as Bar jack, Horse eye jack, and the barracudas.
